The 4 Hole Security Bolts & Screws have 4 location holes in the head section that are surrounded by a slim circular groove, requiring a special tool to tighten or remove the 4 Hole screw.  This unique feature renders the 4 Hole Security Screw tamper proof, reducing the risk of vandals or intruders tampering or undoing the screws.

Due to the design of the Vandal Resistant 4 Hole Security screw it is suitable for low to medium torque applications and is a ‘2 way’ reusable fixing and is generally used in design specific application by architects who specify the 4-hole security screw more due to the eye pleasing aesthetics rather than the security value of the bolt or screw, mainly used in stainless steel architecture, balustrading and glass panels.  In security terms the 4 Hole bolt or screw is mainly ideal for lower security resistance where maintenance is required but the overall look of the job is more important.

In addition to the standard 4 Hole security screws Fastenright Ltd also offer a Security 4-hole MultiPin Screw.  The security MultiPin screw is a complete special product made to order and can be made in most head forms (Pan, Counterusunk, Button, Cap, Hex etc) and materials.  The MultiPin is a much higher security and one of the only security fasteners to be Home Office and Ministry of Defence approved.  The main difference between MultiPin and standard 4-hole security screws is that the MultiPin id suitable for much higher torque and are able to be used in much heavier applications.  In addition each individual tool for the MultiPin is stamped and registered on a database along with all the customer details ensuring full traceability, the tools are also able to be refurbished saving costs on purchasing new tools.  The Key feature, which defines the MultiPin is that the customer effectively purchases their own drive configuration, which is unique to them.
